Dr. Alon Dumanis, Chairman
Dr. Alon Dumanis is the CEO of Docor International Management, a Dutch Venture
Capital, subsidiary of The Van-Leer group Foundation. He has been involved in
several international companies, in international business development,
entrepreneurial and technological management of high-tech companies in the
information, aviation, electronics and emerging technology domains. He serves
as a member of the board of directors in many companies, including El Al Israel
Airlines. Prior to this, Dr. Dumanis was the Head of The Material Command in
the Israel Air Force with the rank of Brigadier General.
He has managed multi-billion dollar R&D programs, engineering, security,
information technology, logistics and acquisition, Air-Force infrastructure
programs and other projects. He was a member of various notable steering
committees for the Minister of Defense and the Israel Defense Forces Chief of
General Staff, for national level technological road mapping and information
technology.
Dr. Dumanis has received prizes, honors and awards including the Purdue
University "Outstanding Aerospace Engineer of 2001 Award." He is a chairperson
and member of several national steering committees and is the author of many
papers published locally and internationally in a number of domains including
Technology and Management.
Dr. Dumanis holds a Doctorate of Philosophy degree in Aerospace Engineering
from Purdue University in the USA.
Boaz Goldschmidt, Director
Mr. Goldschmidt was the co-founder of Yozma and the core of its management team
since inception in January 1993. Mr. Goldschmidt led many of Yozma's
investments in Communications and Internet companies, including E-sim (NASDAQ:
ESIM), CommTouch (NASDAQ: CTCH), Telegate (acquired by Terayon Communications,
NASDAQ: TERN). Prior to joining Yozma, Goldschmidt gained extensive experience
as head of the Royalties department at the Office of the Chief Scientist. In
this capacity Mr. Goldschmidt evaluated investments in hundreds of high-tech
companies primarily in the fields of Communications, Software and
Microelectronics. Mr. Goldschmidt holds a BA degree in Economics and an MBA
degree from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem.
Pinny Chaviv, Director
Mr. Chaviv is a co-founder of TeraOp Displays, a projection display
company and serves as its CEO. Mr. Chaviv was a Partner at Star Ventures
Capital Management Ltd. (2004 - 2006). Previously Mr. Chaviv worked for
ECI Telecom - a large Israeli telecom equipment maker specializing in
access and optical telecom gear - for 17 years. Mr. Chaviv founded ECI's
Broadband Access activity in 1997, led it as a division and later as an
independent subsidiary from 1999 until 2004. Prior to 1997 Mr. Chaviv
filled various R&D and Marketing positions with ECI. Mr. Chaviv holds a
B.SC. in Electrical Engineering from the Technion, Israel and an MBA from
Harvard Business School.
Shlomo Waxe, Director
Mr. Waxe has served as Director General of the Israel Association of Electronics
and Software Industries since 2006. From 2002 to 2005, he worked in the field
of communications management and consultancy. From 1999 to 2001, he served as
CEO of Zeevi communications projects in Sao Paulo, Brazil and Northeast Brazil.
From 1993 to 1997, he served as the Director General of Israel's Ministry of
Communications. From 1990 to 1993, he served as commanding officer of the
signal, electronics and computer corps of the Israel Defense Force and is a
retired Brigadier General. Mr. Waxe also serves as a member of the board of
directors of Cellcom, Tambour Ltd., C. Mer Industries Ltd and Shrem, Fudim
Kelner - Technologies Ltd. Mr. Waxe holds a B.A in political science from the
University of Haifa.
Management
Motti Gejbrowitz, CEO
Mr. Gejbrowitz has over 25 years experience in R&D management and sales
management in the communications space. Prior to joining Clariton, Mr.
Gejbrowitz served as Senior VP Sales for ECTel, a leading provider of analysis
solutions for communications networks with revenues of $90M. Prior to ECTel,
Mr. Gejbrowitz was 14 years in ECI where he held various sales management
positions and R&D management positions; Lately, he served for several years
as MD for ECI UK with annual revenue responsibility of over $150M. Prior to
ECI, Mr. Gejbrowitz gained experience in R&D, production and general
management in TCET, Elscint and Israeli Aircraft Industries. Mr. Gejbrowitz
holds an B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering from Tel Aviv University and a Diploma
in Practical Administration and Marketing from the Hebrew University.
Mota Zussman, COO and Co-Founder
Mota Zussman has over 30 years experience in the area of electronics and
communications of which close to 20 years in senior management positions in
R&D, engineering and business development. Prior to joining Clariton, Mr.
Zussman has been the head of the Electronic Systems Division in Rafael – the
Armament Development Authority. As part of the senior management team, Mota
served as a Corporate Vice President. In this position Mr. Zussman was
responsible for all the activities of the Electronic System Division, leading
well over 1000 engineers and technicians. During his tenure, he served in a
number of senior management positions in business enterprises outside Rafael in
which he gained technological and business experience very relevant to the
Clariton approach. From 1994 to 1998 Mota Zussman was Senior Vice President for
development and engineering in Geotek Communications, Inc, responsible for all
international deployment of wireless communication networks and wireless system
developments. From 1993 to 1994 Mota Zussman was CEO of Microkim, An Israeli
subsidiary of Micel Inc. Prior to that he served a period as head of the
development group at Phasecom Inc. the US -based Cable-TV headend manufacturer.
Mr. Zussman holds a B.Sc. degree in Electrical Engineering from the Technion
Institute of Technology and an M.B.A. from Tel Aviv University.
Gil Shacham, VP Marketing
Mr. Shacham has 13 years of experience in the Telecommunication field. Prior to
joining Clariton, Mr. Shacham served as Associated VP Marketing for Gilat
Satellite Network, a world leader in the VSAT market with sales of $200M. Mr.
Shacham held for the last 6 years various marketing positions in Gilat and was
in charge of global technical marketing, pre sale activities and telephony
product line management. Mr. Shacham served in the years 1991-1996 in the
Israeli Signals Corps were he headed a section of system engineers in charge of
sophisticated RADAR systems. Mr. Shacham holds a B.Sc. in electrical
Engineering from the Technion, and an MBA from Tel Aviv University.
